A close encounter

Hey everyone, Oisin here. Today at school we had some chickens come in, a adoptive mother (her breed was a Silkie) and her chick (which breed was an Australorp). I really enjoyed it, we got to pat them, we also were told about the life cycle of a chick and how long it takes for them to hatch (21 days). I think that this experience was really fun and I would like to say thank you to miss Johns from our school for coming in and showing us this.
